Digital Reactivity Calibrator KRC-1M for Accurate Signal Generation

Reactivity calibrator digital KRC-1M (hereinafter - calibrator) is designed to reproduce reactivity by forming pulse, current and pulse-current signal, the rate and law of change of which corresponds to the change of nuclear reactor power at a given value of reactivity.
It is based on Pentium-IV PC and PCI-6208V DAC converter.
The advantage is, in contrast to analogue calibrators, the possibility of instantaneous transition from one reactivity to another without the need for waiting time in establishing new initial conditions.
