DC traction motor of EDP-800 type is designed for motor-wheels of dump trucks "BelAZ" with payload up to 240 tonnes, operated in moderately cold and tropical climates. Type of climatic execution UHL2, T2 according to GOST 15150. In the conventional designation of the electric motor the letters and digits denote: EDP - direct current electric motor; 800 - electric motor power, kW; UHL2, T2 - type of climatic execution and placement category.
