Electric motor of EDP-600 type is designed for operation as a drive of motor-wheels of dump trucks "BelAZ" with payload up to 220 tonnes, operated in moderately cold and tropical climates.
Type of climatic execution UHL, T2 according to GOST-15150.
In the conventional designation of the electric motor the letters and digits denote:
EDP - direct current electric motor;
600 - electric motor power, kW;
B - modification by maximum speed;
UHL2, T2 - climatic execution and placement category.
