Data Preprocessor Device KMBT.108 for Efficient PC Integration and Data Handling

Preprocessor is an embedded component, connected in series in the path connecting personal computer with specialised software data processor, with current and voltage sensors with digital output of IEC 61850-9-2 format. The main function of the Preprocessor is to receive and pre-process digital communication streams from measurement sensors and then provide the results of this processing to applications running on a personal computer platform. The device is designed in PXIe card format for 3U chassis. It can simultaneously process up to 12 digital streams with a sampling rate of 12800 values or 3 streams with a sampling rate of 100,000 values per second.
