Cross Siding Type R50 Mark 2/9 for Safe Railway Direction Changes

Crossing crossing type P50 mark 2/9 is designed for transfer of rolling stock from one of two parallel tracks to another in two directions and for passing the rolling stock in the straight direction. The sharp crossing is prefabricated - the moulded core is connected to the rail whiskers. Blunt cross member is one-piece cast from high manganese steel. The shackles and frame rails are HFI hardened.
