Coupling of SA-3 model, drawing 0040.01.000

The 1520 gauge railway rolling stock coupler is cast from steel. The designated life of the coupling is not less than 3 million kilometres, taking into account repairs. The couplings are manufactured in the UHL version of category I.

The coupling is used for coupling of railway rolling stock units, as well as for transmission of traction and impact loads. It consists of the body and parts of the coupling mechanism. The design and dimensions of the CA-3 coupler, traction collar and wedge of the traction collar must ensure that they can be mounted on railway rolling stock.

The products are designed for use in railway freight wagons for operation on the railways of the Russian Federation, CIS countries, Georgia, the Republic of Latvia, the Republic of Lithuania, the Republic of Estonia and other countries. The products are being certified for compliance with the requirements of the technical regulation TR TS 0001/2011 "On the safety of railway transport".
