Cosmetic Forearm Prosthesis PR2-K.1 for Aesthetic Restoration

Designed to compensate for the lost aesthetic parameters of the upper limb (according to the level of amputation).

The prosthesis must consist of a cosmetic hand or passive artificial hand with cosmetic shell, wrist assembly, forearm sleeve, silicone sleeve (if medically indicated). The cosmetic hand or passive artificial hand with cosmetic sheath is used similarly to the cosmetic hand prosthesis. The use of the wrist node is determined by the peculiarities of the user's residual limb and the scheme of the prosthesis construction. The forearm sleeve is made of laminated plastic on the basis of binding resins or thermoplastics, according to the plaster positive, taking into account the individual features of the user's residual limb. Silicone sleeve (polymer cover with a locking fastener) is used if there are appropriate medical indications.
