Corrosion Protection Anodes AZ-TES with Ferrosilicon Electrode for Cathodic Protection

Anode earthing devices AZ-TPP are used in systems of electrochemical protection against corrosion of steel pipelines and structures. The products are used as part of cathodic protection installations to ensure the flow of protective current into the electrically conductive external environment. AZ-TPPs for subsurface installation consist of a cylindrical ferrosilide working electrode placed in a metal case (modification "K"), a contact unit and a conductive electric cable.

Positioning of the working electrode symmetrically to the housing walls (in the centre) is ensured by means of centralizers. An electric cable is connected to the working electrode. The contact point of cable connection is hermetically sealed.

The cable is mechanically fixed to the housing by means of a clamp. The body of the products is filled with coke-mineral activator.
