Komplete transformer substations are designed to receive and convert electrical energy of three-phase alternating current frequency of 50 and 60 Hz.

Equipment composition
KTP includes: switchgear on the high voltage side (HV side), power transformers, low-voltage complete devices (LVD) on the low voltage side (LV side), automatic standby input device (AVR - option), electricity meters (option) and other electrical equipment.
Dry-type transformers with capacity from 160 to 2500 kW, with protective casing, with or without forced cooling system are used for electric power conversion in KTPP. The rated voltage on the high voltage side (HV) is 6 or 10 kV.
