Description

The special wheel lathe with CNC model RT906F3 is designed to restore the profile of the rolling circle of wheel pairs of locomotives, freight and passenger cars and special railway machines. The main advantage of the machine is high versatility, which allows without additional costs to changeover to processing of different types of wheel sets with any rolling circle profile. Modern CNC device in combination with electronic measuring system allows to determine the geometrical parameters of the worn profile, to calculate the optimum machining allowance taking into account the uniformity of diameters in the pair, tolerance for different sizes in the bogie and locomotive.
