Destroys the plough sole - a compacted layer under the plough layer, which occurs when the soil is tilled to the same depth.

The plough sole reduces crop yields, prevents plant roots from developing, disrupts natural gas and water exchange and triggers erosion processes.

By breaking the over-compacted layer, the cheesel plough improves the penetration of water and nutrients into the soil, increases soil fertility, crop yields and activates biological processes. No-tillage cultivation with cheesel ploughs prevents the development of wind and water erosion of soils.
