Chest Model with Sternotomy Simulation for Medical Training - M1153

The simulator is a model of a human torso with reproduced sternotomy.The material of the simulator, by its properties is close to natural values, which creates a high degree of realism. The anatomically recreated heart with vessels includes the system of blood circulation vessels: upper and lower vena cava, pulmonary trunk, pulmonary arteries and aorta. A special feature of the model is the simulation of myocardial contraction: systole and diastole for atria and ventricles alternately, which allows for cannulation of vessels.

The anatomy of the oral cavity and upper airway allows tracheal intubation and laryngeal mask placement. When excessive pressure of the laryngoscope blade is applied to the teeth, a clicking sound is heard, indicating fracture of the teeth. Endotracheal tube insertion is fixed by the inflated lungs.
