Centrifugal pump unit type CN

The pump is centrifugal, horizontal, multistage. The pump is driven by electric motors of synchronous and asynchronous types. Pump and motor are connected by means of an elastic coupling. The direction of rotation of the rotor is clockwise when viewed from the motor side. The pump casing is of spiral type in two parts with a horizontal split in the pump axis. The suction and pressure connections are located at the bottom of the casing, which allows disassembly and inspection of the pump without disconnecting the pipework. The rotor is supported by anti-friction or plain bearings with babbitt filling in an oil bath. Shaft sealing is gland packing. Shaft material is carbon steel.
Pumps and electric pump units are manufactured in the version not intended for use in explosion- and fire-hazardous industries.
