Description
The product is used to identify the demineralised and diseased dentin layer. The composition stains the outer layers of carious dentin with a deep red hue. Healthy enamel and normal mineralised tooth tissue do not change their colour. By combining with denatured collagen, which is contained in the carious dentin, the compound stains the tooth tissue within 10 seconds. This allows only the discoloured area to be removed without affecting the uninfected area.
