Carbon Fiber Prosthetic Foot for Patients with M1-M3 Amputation Levels

The carbon fibre foot is designed for patients of M1-M3 activity level with unilateral or bilateral amputation of the femur of all levels or the tibia at the border of the upper, middle and lower thirds, and can also be used in prostheses after dislocation in the knee or hip joints. The foot is available in right and left versions, 7 stiffness categories. It has improved damping properties in the forefoot phase, easy and smooth rolling. The use of carbon fibre-reinforced plastic elements with non-linear stiffness characteristics in the foot structure ensures energy return proportional to the walking pace. The design of the forefoot resilient element provides increased stability in the full-foot support phase and energy recovery in the rear kick phase.
