The CAN gateway KPD is designed for connection of the complex of data collection and registration means KPD-3P and its modifications with the communication unit with the unified accumulator BSSN. CAN gateway KPD is used as part of KPD-3P on traction rolling stock of the Russian Railways network to ensure the recording of speed gauges and other information into a single storage unit.
