The cable contains an optical module with loosely laid fibres. The free space in the optical module is filled with hydrophobic gel. An armour made of corrugated steel tape is applied on top of the module. The free space under the corrugated strip is filled with hydrophobic gel. The armour is overlaid with a sheath made of a polymer composition that does not propagate combustion and does not contain halogens with low smoke emission. Two steel wires are diametrically opposed in the cable sheath, which fulfil the functions of power elements.
Excellent rodent protection; UV resistant; Does not spread combustion.
