Brushless Exciter BVD-1600-3000 U3 for Turbo Generator Systems

The exciter is designed to work in the excitation system of the turbine generator and is directly connected to its shaft. It is a three-phase synchronous generator of reversed version with a rotating rectifier on the same shaft with the generator. Climatic version U3 - for installation in a closed room of the power plant:- at an altitude above sea level not more than 1000 m;- within the ambient air temperature range from +5 to +40 C. The design is closed. The exciter consists of the following main parts: armature with rotating rectifier and contact rings, magnetic system, bearings with emergency lubrication tanks, frame, air coolers, brush traverse, external and internal shields and closures, panels with electric heaters, branch current and initial readout sensors.
