1 Purpose 1.1 Biopsy forceps with round brushes for flexible endoscopes are designed for remote biopsy. They are used together with endoscopes.

3 Design and principle of operation. 3.1 The forceps consists of the following parts: working cups, control rod and control knob. 3.2 The working cups ensure biting out of the tissue sample. The control rod is connected to the working cup drive system and the control knob. 3.3 The reciprocating motion of the control knob ensures that the working cups are fully opened and closed during biopsy.
