Barrier-Yug Hardware-Software Complex for Accurate Vehicle Speed Measurement

The hardware and software complexes "Barrier-South" (hereinafter referred to as complexes) are designed to measure the speed of vehicles by radar-free method (by video frames), as well as to measure the current navigation parameters by the signals of navigation spacecrafts of global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) GLONASS and GPS, to determine the coordinates on their basis and synchronise the internal time scale of complexes with the national time scale of the Russian Federation UTC(SU).
The complex is designed to fulfil the following functions:
- fixation of the speed of vehicles with recognition of GRZ, which have passed through the control zone;
- automatic determination of the vehicle category;
- transfer of fixation facts to the server part of the photo-video fixation system;
- archiving of the recorded information on the digital media of the AIC.
