Ballast Water Treatment System in Container UOBVK-135 for Effective Water Disinfection

The ballast water treatment unit in a container is designed for disinfection of ballast water on ships. Ballast water, after preliminary filtration, is treated with UV radiation, which reduces the content of microorganisms to an acceptable level. Containerised version is with the following advantages: possibility of installation of BWWC on open decks on the ship, in case of lack of free space in the engine room, including in explosion hazardous areas; possibility of water treatment in liquid state (up to freezing temperature); fully automated operation without chemical reagents; BWWC includes all necessary accompanying systems: ventilation, heating and fire-fighting.
