Automatic Reserve Input Device AVR RV for Uninterrupted Power Supply in Mining Applications

The ATS is designed to provide uninterrupted power supply to consumers (automation, signalling and lighting devices) in underground mine workings of mines and shafts, including those hazardous by gas and dust, by automatic connection of a backup power source when the working (main) power source is switched off, and automatic restoration of the original power supply scheme when the working (main) power source is restored. ATS is connected to power supply schemes with nominal operating voltages of main and backup AC circuits of 380V or 660V, industrial frequency 50Hz. ATS output circuits are galvanically isolated from input supply circuits. Insulation resistance of ATS output circuits is controlled by means of insulation control relay.
