Description

Purpose:
Determination of open porosity of rocks from cuttings and cores, volumetric and mineralogical density, moisture content, mass and volume of wet and dry sample.
Scope of application:
The AP-2 analyser is designed for use in geological and technological research stations, mobile and stationary geochemical and petrophysical laboratories.
Working principle:
Drying of a wet sample in a thermal chamber on electronic scales to a constant mass or to a certain time at a given heating temperature. Pre-saturation of dry samples with water under vacuum is provided.
