They are made individually according to a plaster cast. The contact sleeve is made of either thermoplastics or acrylic resins.It is used in the period of rehabilitation for the treatment of fractures of the tibial and fibula condyles, after operations on the ligamentous apparatus of the knee and ankle joints, the consequences of various injuries with instability or signs of contracture in the joint, with delayed consolidation of fractures, and is also indicated for patients with rheumatoid and other arthritis, osteoarthritis of the knee joint, weakness or atrophy of the muscles of the lower leg of various etiologies.
