Vertical aluminium blinds
These are blinds consisting of an aluminium curtain rod with vertical aluminium lamellae.
The lamellae are coated with a dust-repellent, non-allergenic powder paint.
The aluminium lamellas are not transparent, they are tightly fitted to each other, which provides, if necessary, almost complete darkness. By adjusting the rotation of the lamellae you can gently diffuse light and create shade. A big advantage of these blinds is that they do not burn out in the sun, so they last a long time.
For maintenance, they need to be wiped with a damp cloth or vacuumed with a soft brush. If the blinds get very dirty, they can be removed and cleaned with any detergent, then rinse with water. They are resistant to mechanical and chemical damage.
