Pulsed beacon, according to ICAO requirements, is included in the set of light-signalling equipment of helicopter landing sites, helipads, as well as landing sites located on marine vessels and mobile installations. The pulse beacon facilitates visual detection of the aerodrome from the air against the background of interfering lights and serves as a landmark when building a landing approach.
