•Can intrinsically safe barriers work with field instruments from other brands?
Yes — IS barriers and signal isolators are generic interface devices. You match entity parameters (voltage, current, capacitance, inductance) between barrier and field device, regardless of brand. Suppliers provide full entity parameter sheets; send your instrument list and they will propose suitable barrier models for each loop.
•What lead time should an EPC contractor plan for a project package?
Catalog items such as Ex lights, call points and junction boxes typically ship in 2–4 weeks. Engineered items — camera stations, control panels, custom enclosure assemblies — take 45–75 days. For a full project package, plan procurement 3–4 months before required-on-site date including sea freight and customs.

Specify ambient conditions in the inquiry. Standard ratings often cover minus 60 to plus 40–55 degrees Celsius; high-ambient versions and marine-grade stainless steel or coated aluminum enclosures are available across most product families.
