Designed to determine the content of chemical elements in the range of at least from sodium (Na) to uranium (U) in the range from 0.00005% to 100% in various substances. It provides for the analysis of solid samples, powders, liquids, thin films, fused samples. Depending on the task and sample type, measurements are carried out in different media: vacuum, air or helium. The sample requires prior preparation.
