Converter Z-397 (mod. USB Guard) is designed for use in security alarm systems, access control and management to connect devices with RS-485 interface to a personal computer via USB 2.0 interface.
Product features:
1) galvanic isolation up to 1000 V (USB interface line/ RS-485 interface line) both to exclude the influence of impulse interference created by the computer power supply unit on the devices connected to the computer and vice versa;
2) connection to the computer and power supply via USB;
3) operation via virtual COM-port;
4) automatic determination of the speed of information exchange;
5) automatic determination of the direction of transmission: in the initial state, the converter expects data from both the communication channel and the computer.
