The pad is intended for practising surgical skills.
The pad has variable versions, allowing to perform:
- tissue dissection and surgical suturing;
- opening abscesses;
- layer-by-layer tissue dissections;
- fixation of the mesh implant and layer-by-layer tissue suturing;
- single knotted sutures;
- placement of continuous sutures;
- cosmetic (intradermal) sutures along the derma-epidermis border;
- reduction of irregularly shaped incisions;
- practising cardiac surgical skills of valve fixation;
- practising basic microsurgical skills;
- mitral valve plasty and its prosthetics.
Imitation of soft tissues (if available) - execution from elastic materials.
