The medium pressure cylinder (MPC), includes: a cast front and middle part and a welded low pressure exhaust part. The exhaust part is connected to a condenser in which steam is condensed and returned through a regeneration and deaeration system to the boiler; stator parts of a flow section; a prefabricated medium pressure rotor (MPR), has twelve pressure stages of a medium pressure part (MPP) arranged on a one-piece rotor part and five stages of a low pressure part (LPP) arranged on nozzle discs. Blanking of DDCs is of active type, made with one-piece milled bands.
Steam distribution of DDC is of throttle type. Steam inlet to DDC is performed through two blocks of valves, each of which consists of one stop and one regulating valve. Moisture removal system is implemented in the design of the diaphragm of the last stage of DND.
The design of DDC end seals with sleeve-type cages has been applied.
