•How is shipping cost calculated for such lightweight goods?
Sand toys and sleds are volume cargo, so freight is driven by cubic meters, not weight. Suppliers usually state carton dimensions and pieces per carton in their offers, which lets you calculate cost per unit landed. Nesting designs, where buckets and molds stack inside each other, can cut volume by 30 percent or more.
•Which safety documents come with the toys?
Toys sold in Russia are certified under the EAEU technical regulation on toy safety and carry the EAC mark. Exporters provide the certificate copy, test protocols and material composition data.
