Urea grade A is intended for industry. It is used to produce complex and mixed complex fertilisers, in the production of herbicides, urea-formaldehyde fertilisers, melamine. Urea and formaldehyde compounds are used in the production of varnishes and adhesives.
Urea is used to separate straight-chain hydrocarbons from crude oil fractions. It is included in painkillers and sleeping pills, toothpastes. Urea grade B is intended for agriculture.
In crop production urea is used as a highly concentrated nitrogen fertiliser. Urea is also widely used in livestock breeding, it is added as a protein seasoning to cattle feed.
