Equalising vessel (SU) is designed to eliminate the influence of the height of the liquid column in the pulse line on the readings of the difmanometer by maintaining a constant level of liquid in the vessel in relation to the measured variable height of the level in the tank (for two-chamber SU - in the drum of the steam boiler). In addition, SU are designed to ensure equality of liquid densities in pulse lines when measuring differential pressure or flow rate of liquids with temperatures above 120°C by difmanometers.
SU is a hermetically sealed vessel consisting of a cylindrical shell with welded bottoms. A socket is welded into the cylindrical shell on the side for connection to the impulse line connecting the equalising vessel to the tank by means of a nipple connection.
The bottom bottom of the SU has a socket welded into it for connection to the diffmanometer line also by means of a nipple connection. The upper bottom has a welded spigot with a plug for connection to a drain line or atmospheric connection.
