The heat exchanger consists of a regenerative cross-flow heat exchanger inside a dedicated housing. The casing of the heat exchanger
is made of galvanised steel. The heat exchanger surface is formed by corrugated aluminium foil plates. The exhaust air removed from the served room flows through each second channel between the plates of the heat exchanger, heating them (in winter) or cooling them (in summer). The treated supply air flows through the remaining channels of the heat exchanger, absorbing the heat of the heated plates or, conversely, cooling them.
The heat exchanger can be installed horizontally or vertically. The condensate must be drained from the exhaust ventilation duct. For this purpose, the appropriate section of the ventilation duct 1 - 3 m long must be sloped and reliably sealed. A condensate drainage pipe must be provided at the lowest point of the duct.
