Fire valve normally closed overpressure is designed to open open openings in the enclosing structures of vestibule locks and other rooms to maintain the required overpressure of 20 to 150 Pa in them, as well as to compensate for the volume of removed combustion products from the premises protected by exhaust smoke ventilation. Compensating supply of external air, with the help of mechanical smoke ventilation, can be provided using air supply systems in vestibule locks or lift shafts.
In this case, in accordance with the Code of Regulations SP 7.13130.2013 "Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning. Fire safety requirements", in the enclosures of vestibule locks, which are directly adjacent to the protected premises, can be installed overpressure valves in fireproof design with the required fire resistance limits.
