Description

Satellite radio communication equipment - automotive (ASR-A) SNTA 464532.021-02 is designed to organise digital duplex communication channels using Ku-band repeater satellites. The equipment includes DriveAway type antenna post for operation in the vehicle parking area with a 1.5 m diameter carbon fibre antenna protected by an aerodynamic fairing during transport in the folded state. The antenna is automatically pointed at the selected repeater satellite in geostationary orbit using data from the built-in GPS receiver and induction compass.

Operating temperature range of the antenna post with heating system: -40...+50°C. The weight of the antenna post does not exceed 102 kg. Hardware module is placed in the vehicle cabin and provides formation of digital channels via IP protocol, equipment power supply, control and monitoring of its operation.
