APORA tube heat exchangers are manufactured with spiral knurled tubes, the use of this technology allows to improve the efficiency of heat transfer, due to the additional turbulence of the flow that flows through these tubes. Also due to the turbulent flow the growth of deposits and contaminants inside the tubes is reduced compared to the use of smooth tubes.
Shell and tube design means that there is more than one tube in the shell of the heat exchanger. The product to be heated or cooled passes inside the tubes and the second heat transfer fluid in the intertube space.
Shell-and-tube heat exchangers consist of a shell, inside which is placed a bundle of tubes, fixed on a tube grid, tube and intertube space are separated from each other, which eliminates the mixing of the treatment product with the technical medium.
