NKUE of control of electric drives of mining excavators of NKUE-3S type is intended for control of excavator drives according to the system Transistor Converter-Motor (TrP-D) on excavators EKG-4,6, EKG-5, EKG-8, EKG-10.
The TrP-D system is a replacement of the G-D system, which is widely used in ECG. The main difference is the replacement of the generator group and its control system by a static converter with cos? ? 1 and regeneration of braking energy.
The TrP-D system consists of: dry power transformer; active rectifiers with input reactors; main drive converters; control units; braking resistor.
The efficiency of the system is ?92%. Operation at voltage reduction by 30%. Unification of power cells and control units. Diagnostics and indication of system faults. Fast-acting protection of main drives.
