The generator is a three-phase synchronous electric machine with implicitly pole rotor. It consists of a stationary part - the stator, which includes the core and winding, and a rotating part - the rotor, on which is placed the excitation winding, fed with direct current.
The generator has a closed ventilation cycle. The ventilation system applied in T3F type turbogenerators makes it possible to exclude sequential arrangement of fuel elements along the branches of the ventilation path and counter action of pressure sources, to realise at minimum power losses cold air supply from air coolers to all active parts of the machine according to the multi-parallel scheme.
To suppress noise, noise protection hoods are used
