Wide fraction of light hydrocarbons (hereinafter referred to as NGL) is a hydrocarbon mixture consisting of propane, butane and pentanes with admixtures of ethane and methane and heavier hydrocarbons C6 and higher. NGL is used as feedstock for gas fractionation units (GTFU and HFCU) to produce individual hydrocarbons, feedstock for pyrolysis processes of petrochemical and organic synthesis plants.
