The ferry communication device UPS.ST03 is intended for organisation of access to the optical ferry communication system in linear points located along the railway line section between the stations of the communication section.The operation of the ferry communication device is based on the CWDM technology of spectral compaction of optical channels and allows to install up to 18 ferry communication devices on one pair of optical fibres as a part of the main/sectional cable when using a two-fibre connection scheme with organisation of access in two directions.
