Description

Excitation system (ES) is a complex of electrical products that provides control of excitation of turbine generator (TG) by automatically regulated direct current in normal and emergency modes. The CB is made with 2 autonomous and equivalent converter-regulating channels containing thyristor converter (TC), digital automatic excitation regulator with pulse-phase control system and is able to independently provide all modes of TG operation and in excitation boosting mode.

Power is supplied through a transformer connected to an independent source of 6.3 kV. Power supply from an independent source; 2-channel TP; forced air cooling type; permissible permanent excitation voltage 250 volts; permissible permanent current 1250 amperes; 2,5-fold excitation boost TG in nominal mode; U3-climatic execution and placement category according to GOST 15150-69.
