Description

The TGM8km diesel locomotive is designed to operate
on railway tracks of track gauge 1435 mm in humid tropical climate of the Republic of Cuba (version TV, placement category 1) according to GOST 15150 and is manufactured in accordance with ToR No. 376.00.00.000TZ. The range of outdoor air temperature for uninterrupted operation of the locomotive is from 274K (plus 1C) to 313K (plus 40C).
TGM8km diesel locomotive is a single-section four-axle locomotive with diesel engine power of 882 kW (1200 hp), maximum design speed of 22.2m/s (80 km/h) and static load from the wheelset on the rails not more than 211 kN (21.5 tf).
