The tram car control software and hardware complex (hereinafter referred to as PAK-UTV) is designed for installation on various models of tram cars of domestic production equipped with asynchronous traction motors and serves for power distribution, equipment control and ensuring all modes of tram car movement. The produced complex provides the possibility to work without motor speed sensors.
At the same time, all modern requirements to the drive are ensured: no-start uphill traction, reliable elimination of skidding and slipping, and speed measurement. The system contains a number of digital devices that provide not only the required engine operation mode, but also complex control of auxiliary equipment of the car with information output for the driver.
Automatic determination of acceleration time to fixed speeds and determination of braking distance from fixed speeds to zero is provided.
