The RKIE device is designed to monitor the level of insulation resistance of poles of DC networks relative to "ground" and to issue an output signal when the insulation resistance drops below the permissible value. When working together with the portable device EKRA-PKI relay can be used to determine the connections with damaged insulation relative to "ground" without disconnecting consumers from the network.
When connected to the monitored network through an adapter relay type AR-XX relay can be used to measure the total (equivalent) insulation resistance of AC network phases with isolated neutral.
