Description

Zinc selenide for thin-layer optics, TU 2622-040-48591565-2014, is tablets or targets in the form of cylinders with height from 4 to 30 mm and diameter from 8 to 300 mm or granules with size from 1 to 10 mm of yellow colour with density 5,0-5,2 g/cm3. Reacts with acids, insoluble in water. Transparency area is 0.55-16.0 µm.

Chemical formula ZnSe. Purpose and scope of application: as a starting material for manufacturing thin-layer optical coatings by thermal and electron-beam evaporation in vacuum. Product packing is carried out according to GOST 3885.
