Wellhead Seal (SU) - Ideal for Pump Shaft Sealing Applications

The wellhead gland (SU) is designed to seal the polished rod of the rod pump of a well and the rods of screw pumps. Main advantages: possibility of replacement of gland packing without killing the well; compensation of radial displacement of the rod up to 4 mm with preservation of tightness up to 1 500 000 cycles without replacement of lip seal, possibility of completion with additional device of rod sealing, possibility of completion with cut-off device providing automatic shut-off of the wellhead in case of rod breakage. Specially designed wellhead glands are used for heating cable passage into the well and its sealing during technological operations on cleaning of internal tubing surfaces from paraffin. Diameter of heating cable: 20 and 25 mm.
