Vertical axial pump OV8-42MK

Axial vertical electric pump unit OV8-42MK is designed for pumping out sea water from flooded pontoons of floating dock. The pump OV8-42MK is axial, vertical with rigidly fixed impeller blades, single-stage, small-sized with chamber-type inlet. Pump and electric motor are mounted on separate foundations.

Connection of pump shaft and electric motor shaft is made through an intermediate spacer shaft. Torque transmission from the motor to the pump is by means of a sleeve-finger coupling. The direction of rotation of the rotor is left-handed, anti-clockwise when the pump is viewed from the motor side.

The pump is mounted by the rectifier flange on the welded supply chamber of the dock or on the mounting insert in the ballast system of the dock and bolted. The main body parts and assembly units of the pump are: rectifier, impeller chamber, rectifier, fairing, diverter, pump shaft, impeller.
