Vacuum Circuit Breaker for 6(10) kV Series VRC-10 - Ensures Safe Electrical Switching

Vacuum switches series VRS-10 are designed for switching of electric circuits of alternating current with rated voltage 6(10) kV and frequency 50(60) Hz in normal and emergency modes of operation in systems with isolated or partially grounded neutral. Switches ???-10 are equipped with electromagnetic or spring drives and are designed mainly for operation at rated voltage of 10 kV in newly installed complete switchgears of general industrial application. Depending on the nominal parameters, the series of vacuum circuit breakers VRS-10 includes several types, which differ: <ul> <li>- overall dimensions of the frame (for pole-to-pole distances of 200 and 230 mm);</li> <li>pole type (depends on the parameters of the applied vacuum chamber, the poles have inter-pole distances of 275 and 310 mm);</li> <li>type and power of the unified electromagnetic drive, the simplicity of its design allowed to increase the reliability and service life of the switches.</li> </ul>
